Assessment of innocuity and hypoallergenicity.
After primary evaluation on in vitro pharmacological models, the formulations have been evaluated in healthy volunteers after single and repeated applications on the skin using occlusive patchs.
Demonstration of Clinical Efficacy of the products: For each Dr. Adam’s product, clinical efficacy trials have been done on volunteers according to standard clinical protocols according to the actual regulations (COLIPA). The studies have been conducted according to:
either an open protocol (each subject being his own reference before and after the treatment)
or with a control group of patients (subjects with a placebo or in comparison with a non treated area of the face)
The analysis of the significance of the obtained results (Statistical analysis) have been done according to the test t of Student method (Statistic analysis mathematics method).
Satisfaction studies have also been conducted in order to verify the general tolerance and the good acceptability of the formulations on females volunteers. Several criteria have been assessed and have conducted to a Global Satisfaction Index which indicates the number of users having classified the products as very good to excellent. What would be efficacy without pleasure ?
